Many trucking schools will teach you what you need to know to be a professional truck driver. They will also help you get a truck driving job to making big money behind the wheel of a big truck.

Let's say you choose a Truck driving school game which tests parking skills. You will select the skill level of your choice. You will need to be able to steer the truck and trailer and park it into the allocated parking space. You will need to determine the best way to park into the parking space without crashing into anything and do so in the shortest amount of time. You will be able to view your time and damage on the screen. As you continue to attempt to park the vehicle the damage count will add up. This game is over as damage count rises to 100 effectively signaling the end of the game.



High traffic cities such as Atlanta, Chicago, L.A. and New York will be places where you need to be the most alert. Plan your routing to go around the city and not through it. Or plan your trip to go around in the evening or at night.

Be sure to ask the school what their policy is if you don't pass the driving portion of the test for your CDL the first time. A reputable school will continue to work with you for a short period of time to allow you the extra practice you need. They can't guarantee you'll pass it, but they will continue to help you for some time.

Almost all employers like their new hires to show some level of competence in the education field, and trucking companies are no exception.  Mr licence  or even a GED will show your future employer that you are able to finish at least a basic education. Ride to survive - Be seen and not hit. You aren't as big as a Mack truck, but you can attract attention. Wear bright clothing, use your headlight and bright-colored fairings, select a lane and a position to be seen, avoid rapid lane changes, and keep looking around; you don't need surprises.
